Following the recent announcement that David Hammond had stepped down from being CEO of Human Rights at Sea after 10 years from its inception, the charity's Founder has taken the next step in practically addressing human right protections at sea by launching Human Rights at Sea International (HRASi).

With the aim of building a new socially-focused company ultimately to reinvest funds into development and philanthropic activities to continue the protection of vulnerable persons living, working and transiting at sea, the organsiation is now open for business.

The former not-for-profit consultancy separated from Human Rights at Sea in December 2023 with David Hammond taking beneficial control alongside co-Director, Robert Palfrey.

HRASi will immediately commence its role in offering paid-for advisory services backed by an interntional network of legal, policy and academic stakeholders and associates.
