Human Rights at Sea International is proud to announce our film service offerings, led by Death at Sea’s director, Sara Pipernos.

Our award-wining team offers a range of video services, including documentary, corporate, and educational films, shot on cinema-grade cameras. We specialize in stories involving the maritime environment, combining our marine expertise with a commitment to impactful science communication.

We will work with you every step of the way, from development to postproduction, to ensure your vision and impact goals for the film have been realized. Once completed, we can help you take the film across the festival circuit (if desired) to gain increased awareness about the issues at hand.

Our production crew is made up of talented film professionals with experiences ranging across BBC One, the World Health Organization, Netflix’s Bridgerton and more. Many of our crew members also come from science and wildlife backgrounds.

The power of film cannot be underestimated. From Outlaw Ocean’s recent short film, Squid Fleet, to our very own Death at Sea, we've seen how effectively films can achieve advocacy by raising global awareness and fostering engagement.

If you are interested in bringing your film idea to life, please contact us through our film services page. A full description of our film service offerings is available for download below.
